University Projects
FIVE b Co.
For this subject, students were divided into teams where we were to develop design studio brand and then transfer that visual communication style in a real world design project. My team, FIVE b Co., did a project in collaboration with the UOW School of Business and the South West Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) to create a visual campaign aimed at communicating the nuance involved with promoting healthy screentime within families with children aged 0-5 years old, where English is a second language.

Ghost Gear
For this assignment we had to create a vector illustration and typographic response to the article ‘Plastic Superhighway: the awful truth of our hidden ocean waste’. We had to adapt this graphic for social, screen and print media.
For my response, I focused on ghost gear: the often hidden plastics that are damaging to ocean-based flora and fauna. I also wanted to present a solution to this issue which from my research predominantly came in the form of tagging fishing gear so that they might be easily traced.
